If you've lived in your home more than a few years, your home needs to be staged. Professionally staged homes tend to sell faster in a buyer's market and at a higher-than-asking price in a seller's market. And with more and more sellers choosing home staging, buyers are raising their expectations.

How much does home staging cost?
Your Home & Color Coach provides an option for every budget. Even the comprehensive in-home professional staging costs less than the first price reduction on your home if it doesn't sell.

What options are available?
Walk-through consultation. Your Home & Color Coach walks through your home with you and points out what needs to be accomplished. Your Home & Color Coach has tips for how to address many of your home's trouble spots. You take notes. Usually takes 1-2 hours.

In-depth consultation. Your Home & Color Coach walks through your home with a buyer's eye, taking photos and notes on what needs to be addressed. In a few days, you receive a written proposal that includes the to-do items for each room and the estimated cost of a professional staging. You can either do the work yourself or apply the consultation fee toward the comprehensive in-home staging.

Comprehensive in-home staging. Your Home & Color Coach stages the front entry, the living room, kitchen, dining room or family room, and downstairs bathroom. Other rooms such as the master bedroom and bath can also be staged. The charge is on a per-hour basis and all costs, including accessories brought in by Your Home & Color Coach, are itemized in the written proposal and agreed upon in advance of the staging.
